About NPORS

NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) is one of the UK’s leading operator card schemes, providing nationally recognised accreditation for plant and machinery operators across construction, agriculture, lifting operations and many other industries. It’s widely accepted alongside CPCS as proof of competence for anyone operating plant on a construction site.

Whatever machine or role you work in, NPORS accreditation follows one of two routes: a full Novice training course if you’re new to the equipment, or a shorter Experienced Worker test if you already hold a recognised card or have significant hands-on experience. Both routes lead to a card that’s recognised by principal contractors and site managers across the UK.
